FieldForce Privacy Policy
FieldForce is a mobile app operated by Orient Energy Systems (“we”, “us”). It is used only by our employees to record customer visits, after-sales service, prospects and customer feedback. This policy explains what data the FieldForce app collects, why, and how it is handled.

Who can use the app
FieldForce is for Orient Energy Systems employees. Accounts are issued by the company.
Data we collect
Location (precise)
- When you submit a visit, the app records your device’s GPS coordinates with that visit.
- When you open the app, it records your current location.
We use location data to keep an accurate log of meetings, to calculate travel distance for fuel, and for reporting purposes. We do not track your location continuously.
Account information
Your name, company email address, employee ID and department, used to sign you in and to link your records to you.
Device identifier
A device identifier (on Android, the Android ID) is used to register your account to one device and prevent unauthorised logins from other devices. We do not use the advertising ID.
Work records you enter
Customer names, contact persons and their details, visit purpose, remarks, equipment readings and customer feedback that you enter in the app’s forms.
How the data is stored and protected
Records are saved on your device first so the app works offline, and are sent to our servers when an internet connection is available. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the data on our servers is limited to authorised company staff.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. The app contains no ads. Data is used only within Orient Energy Systems for the purposes described above, except where disclosure is required by law.
Data retention
Visit, location and account records are kept for as long as they are needed for business and in line with our record-keeping obligations. When your employment ends, your account is deactivated.
Your choices and rights
You can deny or withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings. Visit forms require location to be submitted, so some features will not work without it. To ask about your data or request its deletion, contact us at developer@orient-power.com.
Permissions used by the app
- Location (precise and approximate): to record visit coordinates and start-of-day location, as described above.
- Internet and network state: to sync your records with company servers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
